Painted Roses

My latest Fyrinnae order arrived this week, and (among others) I got those two gorgeous red shades, Kamikaze (pink-based) and Painted Roses (coral-based), so I had to play with them today:)! I applied Cheeky (light pink, more sparkly on my hands than on my lids, where it appeared almost matte) on the lid, Kamikaze in the crease wih a rather straight line in the outer corners, then blended upwards with Painted Roses and Pure Luxe Orange Sorbet. I used MAC Vanilla eyeshadow on the browbone and lined my eyes with MAD Black Cherry (pigment mixed with water). The falsies are another favourite of mine: p2 Ultra Volume lashes, which- alas - were LE:(... I used Black Cherry (dry) to line my lower lid as well, adding some Cheeky in the inner and Painted Roses in the outer corners, and some white kohl on the waterline. Mascara is - as always, CG Lash Blast.

And on another note, I will be starting singing and ballet lessons again next week, and I'm so excited :D!

Product List
Fyrinnae Cheeky, Kamikaze, Painted Roses, PL Orange Sorbet, MAC Vanilla, MAD Black Cherry, Maybelline Expression kohl in white, p2 Ultra Volume Lashes, CG Lash Blast

You know, this almost looks like a Shu Uemura look I requested ages ago on MUA! Everyone said it was impossible to do, but Padmita you proved to them otherwise. Wonderful work, excellent shading. I love it! I'm such a fan of your looks :) Have a great weekend!

Thank you all ♥! I'm glad you liked it, I was quite pleased with how the colours turned out as well!

@innerchiild: Do you still have a picture of that look? I'd be interested in seeing it!

About singing and ballet: Give me some time to practise again first :P! I took a break of almost a year from singing with my moving places and stuff, and I have to work on regaining my range first... And my break from ballet dancing has been much longer even, so I'm starting with the basics again and see how I progress!

hallo padmita,

(Sorry - I posted with the wrong google acct above as "Katrina")

Lovely!! Great shading and use of color. I wish there were a closed-eye or a "looking down" pic to see the lid better, but it's simply beautiful.

This is such a wonderful and gorgeous effect that you have created. I always admire your creativity. Though you have mentioned the products you have used but I would not even be able to try out something so wonderful. :D

This looks like an image of the one painting the world that is simultaneously minimalist and Baroque and just happens to represent precisely what an eye should look like. It's stunning that it can.

Which is to say-- I quite enjoy the look.

I am hooked on your eye looks. You are both a talented artist with make up application and photography. I'm so awed.

Found this blog from specktra and this is SUCH a beautiful look! I have a question on the Fyrinnae colors, did you apply them wet or dry? Would LOVE a tutorial on this look! It's incredible!!
