Another marine look, to keep in with this week's (unintentional) sea theme :)... The main colour in this look is "Back to the Sea" by Archetype Cosmetics, a stunning teal/mint colour with a very complex gold interference. The shape I used in this look is a variation of
this look, but this time, I decided to cut the crease only along the outer half of my eyes, instead of all the way past the inner corners. I then used Fyrinnae Sweet & Sour (matte medium dusky purple) and MAC Carbon in the crease and blended upwards, highlighting with MAC Vanilla. The lashes are by essence and have tiny glitter flecks on them - I would actually prefer them without the glitter (for once), but the shape fits my eye so perfectly that they are my favourites to wear!

Product List
p2 perfect Eyes base, Archetype Back to the Sea, MAC Carbon, Fyrinnae Sweet & Sour, MAC Vanilla, Maybelline Expression kohl in black, essence Glamour lashes, CG Lash Blast

this is soooo pretty! i love how that teal looks like foil on your lid!
Very pretty! I ordered a bunch of samples from Archetype last month and have yet to receive them- I emailed her and didn't get a reply. Is this typical for her?
this is a very difficult colour for me and many people i think. but you make it so easy and beautiful. sometimes i wonder what colours you can't wear???!!! you have the most grgeous eyes!
that looks sooo pretty.. i love it!
This is gorgeous, I love it!
great!! :)
@Jessica: Yes, she usually takes quite a qhile to ship out orders :(...
@jojoba: Anything yellow is not really my cup of tea ;)!
Thanks to all of you!!
This is great--I'm glad I discovered this blog. You have beautiful eyes, and very clever make-up designs!
This is absolutely beautiful! I got my Archetype order today and got to play around just a bit. What kind of brush do you use to apply it? I'm assuming you pack it on dry, but you seem to get really good pay-off with the color. I'm curious about your base, I can't find a way to order it here- and I don't speak German :( Any suggestions?
Your talent is beyond compare and your beauty unmatched!
Oh wow, thank you for all the nice words!!
@Jessica: It depends, usually I use a large brush with dense bristles to apply the main lid colour if I'm applying the pigments dry, and MAC #242 if I'm foiling them.
I don't think the base can be ordered over the net, as it's just a cheap drugstore brand AND it's LE as well I think :(... What base do you normally use? Have you tried MAC Paint Pots?
Right now I'm using Urban Decay Primer Potion, and I have used the MAC Paints (in the tube) but not the paint pots- I've actually been wanting to pick some up but I'm waiting for my Pro card to come.
Honestly, I've never really needed a primer before, I just started using them when I discovered that you really need it to get any punch out of mineral pigments- I end up foiling them most of the time anyway.
Thanks for the reply, BTW!
This is such a wonderful job that you have done. I simply love the look you created. I would have loved to be one of your subjects some day for the killing look that you give. :-)
